Funds for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

Great news this summer! We recently obtained from our University a large funding to acquire surface-based NMR equipment. This will add yet another method in our group to scan the (shallow) Earth and in particular the water content. Hopefully, this will drive further collaboration with other research teams and lead to exciting Research in many domains.

We already tested several sites to which we could apply SNMR and obtain groundtruth information using existing boreholes (maximum 100 m):
